Beecuz' educational curriculum is composed of six, 2-week modules that are sequentially taught over a 12-week period from January to April. For each module, students are introduced to a topic through an interactive workshop, which is facilitated by a passionate and trained Beecuz team member. These workshops are followed by an interactive lesson that teachers engage students in the following week (i.e. the second week).
Each module involves educational instruction on principles rooted in positive psychology, as well as interactive activities and discussions that reinforce learning. These activities also provide students with valuable resources and skills that they can independently apply in the future to manage challenging circumstances.
Please see below, for a brief overview of each module, the material that is taught, and the activities that are included.
"EDUCATION IS THE MOST POWERFUL WEAPON WE CAN USE TO CHANGE THE WORLD."

Before launching the classroom program, Beecuz ensures that teachers from all different backgrounds feel prepared to support their students, therefore ensuring success. Teachers are provided with the opportunity to reflect on core concepts of mental health, consider how mental wellness might be implemented into their everyday classroom, as well as connect with likeminded colleagues who will likely become invaluable partners.
